Backstory

For its 10th Global Summit anniversary, Aspire Academy brought together 50 of the world’s most prestigious football clubs and federations in the heart of the Qatari desert. For this occasion, we were asked to design a trophy that could go beyond a simple ceremonial object and become a refined physical memory of the place.

Thoughts

High-level guests are used to receiving trophies and gifts, yet many of these objects feel interchangeable. They are often displayed for their importance rather than for their concept or aesthetic value. The challenge was to create something different: not another standard award, but a thoughtful piece with meaning, presence, and cultural depth.

Solution

Through material, form, and craftsmanship, the trophy became an artistic object rooted in its context. It was designed to carry the spirit of the desert in a composed and non-obvious way, giving guests not only a symbol of pride, but something worth displaying proudly. An object where heritage, concept, and beauty could live together.

The Premiumness

The trophy combines stainless steel, desert rose, and rope to create a refined balance between engineering and heritage. The steel frame gives the object structure, precision, and permanence, while the desert rose carries a direct connection to Qatar’s natural landscape. The rope holds the stone in tension, turning the composition into a crafted, almost suspended piece of art.
