Backstory
The European Union in Qatar needed a digital platform able to bring together the events organised by the different European embassies in one clear and accessible place. In a country with a large European expat community, the website wanted to become an opportunity to create a stronger sense of connection, making people feel closer to Europe even while living abroad.
Thoughts
The challenge was to design a platform that could speak to many different audiences without feeling cold or institutional. It had to be simple enough for everyone to navigate, but also fresh, contemporary, and engaging. More than just an events calendar, the website had to feel like a digital meeting point for culture, community, and participation.
Solution
We created a clean and modern interface where information is easy to find, events are simple to explore, and the overall experience feels light and welcoming. The design avoids the traditional institutional look, choosing instead a more digital and accessible language. A platform built to inform, connect, and make the European community in Qatar feel seen.

The (eunited) holding

Built around the idea of unity, the Umbrella brand "eunited" brings the initiatives of different European embassies under one shared vision, creating a clear and accessible space where the European community in Qatar can connect, discover, and take part.

The Website construction

The platform was designed with two connected experiences: one for users and one for the embassies. On the public side, visitors can explore events, access key information, register, and take part in initiatives in a simple and intuitive way. On the embassy side, a dedicated area and clear guidelines were created to make event uploading easy and consistent, using structured forms that help each embassy publish content correctly. This dual system keeps the platform efficient for those managing it, and clear for those using it.

The User Interface

Navigation stays simple and direct, while the visual system supports the content instead of competing with it. The choice of images and the catalogue-style layout help users understand each event faster, making the website feel more editorial, fresh, and enjoyable to explore.

Devices Adaptability

The layouts were designed to adapt seamlessly across devices, keeping the experience clear and consistent from desktop to mobile. Content remains easy to read, navigate, and explore, ensuring the platform feels accessible and intuitive in every format.
